How to reach Kruishoutem? 2011/11/23

By air

Brussels Airport, Belgium’s main international airport is situated in the town of Zaventem (appr. 65 kilometres/40 miles from Ghent). Flight schedules for departures and arrivals are available at the official Brussels airport website at www.brusselsairport.be.

Brussels south Charleroi Airport is less accessible to Kruishoutem, but offers low cost flights from Southern and Eastern Europe http://www.charleroi-airport.com/en/

Lille Airport (France) is the nearest airport to Kruishoutem. It is a small airport with some direct flights from Southern Europe and Northern Africa http://lille.aeroport.fr/

By train

There is a direct international (Thalys) train connection between Paris and Ghent. Participants coming from France or London can also take the train to Lille (France) because this is only 25 minutes from Kruishoutem.

If you are travelling from Amsterdam or London you can take the train to Brussels South (Brussel Zuid/Bruxelles midi).

At the airport or in the train station a teammember of the ECC will host you and drive you to Kruishoutem.

By car

Kruishoutem is on the highway E17 (exit 6) from Antwerp to Lille/Rijsel France. It is at about 20 minutes from Ghent and 25 minutes from Lille.

Coming from Brussels you can take the E40 to Ghent and follow the E17 direction Kortrijk/Rijsel(Lille).
